Well, today is the day before the day. I still don't know if I'm going or not, exactly. My parents are really fighting this. I don't think I'll get stranded in Detroit, Minneapolis, OR Manchester, but what if I do somehow? Or what if I get sick there? They do bring up a lot of good points, unfortunately. The likeliness of these things happening are slim, but they still COULD happen. And my parents seem like they won't drive me to the airport or anything, since they don't want me to go that badly.

So, just a warning that I still might not be able to go. I'm pretty ready and all, but they're still against it. : (

Edit: I don't have to cancel it, but I may post-pone it. I am still not sure. Maybe it's because of my parents yelling at me ever since this whole thing started, but I'm starting to consider that I'm being too naive about this. : ( Maybe I am, but I still want to go.

Sure, why not. It'd make all the dumb "scene" kids stop thinking their tough shit because they do a wanna-be drug like MARY JANE, since it'd be legal and not ~hardcore~ or anything. Marijuana is harmful if you don't know what the fuck you're doing, though.

07. Are you for or against premarital sex?
As long as it's safe and you're not cheating, I'd say go for it.

Yes.

Being in California, I do admit am pretty fucking tired of illegal immigrants fucking up our economy even more than it already needs to be. I do wish I could be one of those idealists who don't believe in borders, but I guess I'm not.

No. That girl will go through physical and psychological trauma, and her baby has a huge chance of having birth defects. That is, if childbirth alone doesn't kill both the girl and her child first.

12. Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
Yeah, for the same reasons as I stated in #06.

13. Should the war in Iraq be called off?
Yes pleeeeease.

14. Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
Well, the fact is that it IS illegal, but I don't agree that it should be. I can't imagine going through pain every waking moment of my life and being forced to be kept alive. That shit is a no-go for me, if I want to die, I should.

Yes, actually. There's a difference between discipline, and abuse. Only the bleeding-hearts who have never had to deal with children would say otherwise.

Boo about your parents. Could you get to the airport without them?

RE: the economical argument about the death penalty, I'm pretty sure that with all the costs associated with putting people on death row and capital punishment, the prices basically balance themselves out. So "keeping them alive" is no more expensive.

Perhaps, but how many times are you going to kill one person? The inmates could be kept alive for years, even decades, and that's a lot of food and other such expenses out the window. Food and money which could be used on people who, well, didn't commit a heinous crime. That's just my opinion, though.
Though honestly, I stole that answer from the last person I took the survey from. I agree to an extent, but I have some moral issues with it, of course. That, and even with the death penalty being legal in some areas, there are tons of inmates who are still on death row even after 30 years.

I don't know, I leave pretty early in the morning. :(
