The trip was postponed, unfortunately, but it's better than being cancelled. I really wanted to celebrate Halloween with Becca. :(
Because of the freak-out my parents seemed to have about it last night, I had trouble sleeping, having bad dreams and waking up often. This morning, my dad was feeling physically sick and my mom was anxious and panicking, and apparently it was because of the trip. So I postponed it for their sake, mostly. I guess it's for the best though, since maybe we weren't as prepared as we thought. I still feel really bad for it all, though. :(

Well, I guess the good side to this is that I now have enough time to do a Tegaki E entry for the Halloween event. Just after some much needed sleep.

My mom is a lot like your parents about me going places far away. She cried 2/3 times I went back to California to visit my hometown that I was familiar with, as well as all the friends I trust and rely on. And she still bawled at the airport. D: I just CRINGE to think how she'll react when I tell her I want to go like cross-country or something to some random place to meet someone from the internet that she doesn't know. She'll probably die on the spot. Augh.
I feel your pain. But yay for Tegaki! That site is strangely addicting, even if I am not the best at it.
