Perhaps, but how many times are you going to kill one person? The inmates could be kept alive for years, even decades, and that's a lot of food and other such expenses out the window. Food and money which could be used on people who, well, didn't commit a heinous crime. That's just my opinion, though.
Though honestly, I stole that answer from the last person I took the survey from. I agree to an extent, but I have some moral issues with it, of course. That, and even with the death penalty being legal in some areas, there are tons of inmates who are still on death row even after 30 years.

I don't know, I leave pretty early in the morning. :(
